What does the Oatmeal Face Polish Scrub do?

How often should I exfoliate with it?
For most skin types, once or twice a week is ideal. Over-exfoliating can disrupt the skin barrier, so starting with once a week and increasing to twice if your skin tolerates it well is recommended.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Oatmeal is well known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, making this scrub one of the gentler exfoliation options in the Aloepure line. However, those with very reactive or compromised skin should patch-test first.
Can I use it as a double-cleanse step?

Can I use this scrub on my body?
While it is formulated for facial use, the gentle ingredients are suitable for use on the neck and décolletage. For body exfoliation, Aloette's Hand Polish or body-specific scrubs are recommended.
How do I use it correctly?
Apply a small amount to damp skin, massage gently in circular motions for 30–60 seconds focusing on any rough patches, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.
Should I avoid it if I have active breakouts?
Physical exfoliation over active, inflamed breakouts can spread bacteria and worsen irritation. If you have active acne, use only on non-affected areas or wait until breakouts have healed before exfoliating that zone.
What should I apply after exfoliating?
After rinsing off the scrub, apply your toner to restore balance, followed by a serum and moisturizer. Freshly exfoliated skin absorbs active ingredients more effectively, so this is an ideal time to apply treatment serums.
