Is the formula different?

I had a jar of the enzyme peel from a while back and I found it, unopened, and had used it recently until it was gone. It was amazing! I felt the dead skin coming off every time. This Christmas I got a new now tube packaged enzyme peel. I was specified to have to again but I have used it twice now and it feels like it does nothing. I thought maybe I was using too much so I tried a much smaller amount on a subsequent use, and it was still very lack luster. I didn’t feel any dead skin coming off and trust me, there should have been a lot. I’m just very disappointed in the new product. I don’t know if it’s a different formula or less intensive maybe. But I don’t like it. I give it a row because my fave feels clean but does not feel as clean as it did using the “old” kind.

It was kind of weird in the beginning because it was all sticky and gooey, but after massaging it for 20 seconds, it liquified and some « beads » started appearing. After washing my face, I realized how much dead skin I had and the change that it made. My skin became so smooth and clear, so I think that this product is a total success.

This enzyme peel is *amazing* for getting rid of dull surface skin and revealing the glowing skin underneath. As you massage, dead skin literally beads up and it feels so refreshing to wash away. So gentle, hydrating, and soothing!

I love this enzyme peel it’s smooth going on, Quick and easy to use and and fresh clean scent. It’s cooling yet refreshing when applying. I love that it’s not harsh or gritty when applying and seeing the dead skin coming off and the glow it gives your face when you’re done this is a must have.

Restorative Enzyme Peel Exfoliating Gel

This is a must product to have. I use this product at least twice a week to help with the exfoliating of dead skin cells. My husband George also loves this product. He is a farmer and is outside all day long. In the summer his arms get burnt and then tan everyday which then makes his arms dry and itchy. I had him use the enzyme peel to slough away the dead skin cells and it made his skin feel soft and smooth and no more itch. A must have for sure.

The Restorative Enzyme Gel is my all-time favourite Aloette product! I started using it many years ago, and it does an amazing job exfoliating my sensitive skin. They changed the formula

I was pretty surprised when I received my last order of the enzyme peel. They changed a wonderful formula that worked and didn’t burn my eyes. It even smells different. It’s much harder to activate on your face and doesn’t do the trick as well anymore. It never burned my sensitive eyes but now they burn every time I use it. Please bring back the old formula!

Best exfoliator out there!

The enzyme peel is amazing! My skin always feels so soft after using it and it helps get rid of any breakouts I have, but it’s not only good for the face! It’s amazing to exfoliate your feet and tattoos! I tried it on my sister because she had said the colour in her tattoo was looking a little faded but when I used the ezyme peel on it the tattoo looked bright again. Such a great product!
