In honor of April being National Earth Month, we wanted to celebrate our farm to jar ingredients and how they help our skin and help the environment! This week in the blog, we are going to be going through four of our favorite farm to jar ingredients, what they do for your skin, and what products you can find these ingredient in.
Aloe Vera
We couldn’t list our favorite farm to jar products without starting with Aloe Vera! Here at Aloette, we are proud to curate our own Aloeganic aloe vera to help deliver age-defying and skin-soothing results. Aloe vera is in a majority of our products such as Hydra-Cleansing Emulsion Daily Face Wash for Normal to Dry Skin and our bestselling Restorative Enzyme Peel Exfoliating Gel, and more!
Shea Butter
Another farm to jar ingredient we love is shea butter! Shea butter is great to help boost moisture on your skin and help soothe skin. This conditioning ingredient can be found in several of our moisturizer products as it helps to deeply quench thirsty, dehydrated skin. Shea butter is included in our Maximum Moisture Complex Complete Ultra Hydrant and our new Rest & Restore Comforting Lavender Body Crème to help give skin the ultimate moisture.
Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is a fan-favorite skincare ingredient as it helps keeps skin moisturized with a lightweight consistency that gives skin a boost of hydration. The multiuse ingredient helps smooth the skin and lock in moisture to help prevent dryness. Coconut oil can be found in our Hand and Body Silk Lightweight Body Lotion to help soften the skin and our indulgent Aloe Kiss Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm to help moisturize lips.
Green Tea
Not only does green tea do great things for your body, but it also helps with your skin! We love the numerous benefits of green tea, such as helping to reduce excess oil production, soothe dry skin, and help boost hydration to the complexion. This skin-loving farm to jar ingredient can be found in our Coconut Milk & Turmeric Refreshing Body Mist and our Luminous Tint Prep & Primer Oil to help condition skin for a dewy-looking finish.
Olive Oil
While we know that olive oil is a useful ingredient in the kitchen, it can also be used on your skin! This multipurpose ingredient has numerous benefits, such as moisturizing dry skin and helping to prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Olive oil can be found in several of our skincare products such as our Essential Cleansing Oil and Luminous Tint Prep & Primer Oil to help soothe and increase hydration to the skin.
